Ok... here's a short little thing... If you know what i'm talking about coolness if not.. here it is..

Ok... easiest way to describe this is think of the movie rolemodels.. then think of the laire thing the nerdy kid played in.. This is basically the same idea... but diffirent rules...

Amtgard;

-has magic, need incantations/magic supplies..
-can only lose two limbs.. Killing/limbshots can be explained on asking...
-Lighter weapons/more fluid movement...
-Class battles..
-nearby amtgard region that we could group up and visit..
-Quests available..

How to make Amtgardian Weapons


Dagg;

-no magic
-can shield bash/grab weapons from other players...
-heavier weapons/weapon weight limits
-can lose all limbs and still live!


I'm gonna TRY to host Dagg this saturday if anyone is still here.. I don't usually host it because another friend does.. but he's leaving this weekend... We can play either amtgard/dagg, we'll deside when there...

It's gonna be behind Kirkham Hall on Saturday the 19th! thats THIS saturday.. at 5pm... I only have 4 swords/1dagger... I'm trying to make some more but i will probably only have a max of 7 weapons.. we can rotate out though... Nate, the usual hoster has a hand+half sword.. an axe, a gladius, a shield and a flail to his name...

If you want to come to learn or just beat the crap out of some people I'll be there from 5:00 to 5:15, unless someone shows up... Once again the FIELD BEHIND KIRKHAM at 5 pm...

It's a fun game.. and it gets us out from behind/infront of a tv/computer for awhile...

So yeah... Its every saturday.. and really fun.. so come along...

Oh, forgot to add.. If we want to play amtgard.. I have a rule book.. its the BRAND new addition, got it at rakis this passed june... so its up to date on EVERYTHING.. and i'll be attempting to head up to Stormwall, (hitchcock amtgard field/region) on sundays to play with them... if anyone wants to come along they're free to.. Just reply here or email me.. texanfish102@yahoo.com ... I have a car.. and room for 3 people... (its small and a lil bit loud but it works.. -hugs emo-mobile-)

They play/meet on sundays at 12.. so we'll start getting ready about 10:30 if anyone wants to come... I suggest eating before hand...

If we do go up and end up early.. i can give basic rundowns on fighting techniques before they start.. unless you come to the saturday one..

(if no one replies.. I'll be outside near the gazebo practicing myself for a few minutes before i head out... I'll be out there from probably 10:45 to like 11:15.. so thats around a 30 minute window..)

Honestly it's not nerdy at all... I got some friends from the unoffical anime club to play it.. we took a video and some pics from today... it was cool... one you gotta play to grasp it i guess ninja...

and no you can't use a marker... safety issues... (allergies...missing and getting eye....someone freaking out and hurting themself.. also neck/head area is taboo to hit... another safety thing...)

However you can, if you can pull it off... be sneaky and stab in the back.. when someone plays battle games the 'assassin' class can disapear and no one can 'look' at it while its 'sneaking' and it can come out when it wants... but some classes can 'track' it and watch where it goes/warn its team mates of you...

if you look at the rules you might find the assassin class enjoyable... there's even poisons and 'touch of death' s....
